About My Work:

Given my history as an art educator it makes sense that I enjoy creating in a wide variety of mediums. I have worked in fibers and ceramics, but am currently working primarily in 2-D. I have a large number of florals in both watercolor and pastel. I also do portraits in pastel, and home portraits in watercolor. My childrens book illustrations are usually either in pencil or watercolor, but I also work in acrylic. I paint animals, trucks, landscapes, people, garden tools… whatever catches my interest! I take work on commission and have private student classes in my home.
