The Renaissance Centre is having their fundraising gala, The Broadway Ball, on November 12th.They do have a silent auction as a part of their fundraising efforts. Please consider donating a piece of your art to this cause. Funds will be used to offer free community arts events and arts educational scholarships for youth.

Please see attached opportunity for artists to display at Gallery Gala at Carillon Assisted Living Facility in Wake Forest. The event is Aug 13, Noon-2pm. There is no cost for the artist to show their work. The Facility is inviting artists to bring work to the facility for their residents and community friends to enjoy and purchase. Interested artists can contact Carillon at 919-701-6965.
Please join The Artist Loft and Gallery in Downtown Wake Forest in helping raise awareness of homeless animals. This is a juried show where all of the entry fees will go to help a few of our local Humane Society’s. Each artist can submit up to two pieces of animal art up to framed sizes of 16 x 20. Any medium that can hang. At this time we cannot accept art that is free standing. Entry fee for 2 pieces of art is $15.00 and the deadline is July 16th. Please email your submissions to firstname.lastname@example.org with your name and title of your art and size. Notifications will be sent out on July 18 and work must be delivered to the Artist Loft by July 23rd or 24th between the hours of 10am – 3pm. If your work is juried in you may drop off your entry fee at the time of art delivery. We will have a reception with wine and music to announce the first place and second place winners along with people’s choice award July 29th from 6:30 pm – 9:00 pm. Painting in the Park event is rescheduled for May 22, 2016
Come paint outside during one of the Six Sundays in Spring concert (thanks to Wake Forest Arts).
Joyner Park is beautiful with lots of room to find the perfect spot to paint, sketch, or doodle! Open to the community. No fee
We will be setting up the WFGA tent at 3:00. Registration opens by 3:30. When you get to the park, make sure to stop by the WFGA tent to register!
The fan favorite award will be announced at 7pm with a $50 Jerry’s Gift card to the winner!
A huge thank you to artist Tammy Kaufman for her wonderful presentation of the basics of plein air during our WFGA member’s April meeting!
In case of rain, (hopefully not again!) and the concert is moved to the Renaissance Center, we will postpone the Painting in the Park for another Sunday TBA.
